Designed by Ferragni Progetti, the Okean 55 Sport is an innovative brazilian day boat offering the same space to relax than one can expect to enjoy on a 60/65ft classic motor yacht.
Once deployed, her hydraulic side coamings give the vessel over six more feet of beam on balconies flush with the hi-lo swim platform and rest of the above decks area.
Her gyro-stabiliser eliminates the side-to-side rolling that often induces seasickness and will help you and all your guests have the best possible experience while crusing at 25knots from Cannes to Monaco or Saint-Tropez.
Did you know ?
The general idea behind the gyro stabilizer goes back many years. Small and midsize boats and yachts would often use special fins or keels that were externally mounted below the waterline of the vessel. However, this could create some extra drag, which reduced speed and would result in tanking fuel economy. This is why the gyro stabilizer was developed—to provide that extra stability without crushing performance or efficiency.
